- 十重禁戒
- The ten pārājika, or a monk's most serious sins; also [lang id =1028]十波羅夷; [lang id =1028]波羅闍巳迦. They are killing, stealing, adultery, lying, selling wine, talking of a monk's misdeeds, self-praise for degrading others, meanness, anger at rebuke, vilifying the Triratna. The esoteric sect has a group in regard to giving up the mind of enlightenment, renouncing the Triratna and going to heretical sects, slandering the Triratna, etc. Another group of ten is in the [lang id =1028]大日經 9 and 17; cf. [lang id =1028]十波羅夷.
